Hey there. It’s time. 🤯
The recipe that my family ADORES is being released. Grab a notebook, snap a photo, or get ready to memorize, haha. No, I’m serious.
Credits go to Sally @https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/, but this recipe, after years of baking and trying to perfect her recipe, my mom and I got it and made it our own. Now, I’m too addicted. Stay away, chocolate chips, haha.

Ingredients
- All-Purpose Flour
- Cornstarch
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Butter
- Brown sugar
- Granulated sugar
- 2 eggs + 2 egg yolks
- Vanilla
- Chocolate chips
Now, to begin!
Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups Flour
- 3 t. Cornstarch
- 2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 t Salt
- 3 sticks butter (NOT melted. Toss all of the butter into your mixer and mix. It must be cold to get the perfect cookie.)
- 1 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- 1 cups Granulated Sugar
- 2 eggs + 2 yolks
- 4 t Vanilla
- 3 cups Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt together.
- Using a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together in a large bowl on medium-high speed until combined and creamy. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract, then beat on medium-high speed until combined. Beat in the dry ingredients on low speed, then stir the chocolate chips in until combined. The dough will be very thick, and overflowing.
- Make them a 1/4 cup. Place as many as you can fit (spacing them apart evenly) on your baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes. The center will look super soft, but it will set as the cookie cools.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool. As it cools, press a few chocolate chips into the top, if wanted, for garnish. Or a sprinkle of flaky sea salt (I do this to all of my cookies now).
- Enjoy with a cup of cold milk!

I hope you all enjoy these, perfecting the recipe and making it your own. Please let me know how they turn out if you make them!
Enjoy.
