Coffee Day

Happy Wednesday, friends. This post is for the coffee-lovers out there!

Made a quick (actually, quite long) CoffeeHead run and finally tried their seasonal Earl Grey latte instead of my usual honey matcha (even though I was seriously craving another). After being stuck inside from the rain all day yesterday, we all needed to get out of the house and get some fresh air! About an inch of snow covered the ground, topped with a slick layer of ice.

It wasn’t as busy as I was expecting, so we camped out for a while. Got some studying in, FINALLY knocked out another chapter in my novel Whispers in the Forest, and crammed in a ton of schoolwork that I needed to finish before tomorrow. My dad and siblings came along (mom stayed cozy at home, haha. We brought her back a honey latte), and we ended up hanging out for almost three hours (insane, haha).

After running on just coffee for way too long, we were starting to get hungry. Probably shouldn’t have, but we caved and ordered some of their popular burritos. I’ve seen so many people get them, and wow – they were absolutely delicious.

I enjoyed the time together and getting out of the house (especially helping my dad navigate through Canva, haha!)

Just as always, CoffeeHead didn’t disappoint. All the drinks – (real) honey latte, their seasonal Sakura latte, milk tea with boba, and my Earl Grey latte were spot-on. The tiny, cozy ambiance (when not busy) is perfect for studying, and it’s by far the best coffee in all of Topeka. Their matcha is perfectly rich and creamy and the best one I’ve had. I highly recommend one from there! Go and enjoy a hot (or iced) cup of coffee or a unique tea!
